Child Safety Standards

when is an adults-only dating app operated by When Dating Inc. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we keep minors off the platform, how anyone can report a concern, and how we act on it.

Adults only

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, as required by our Terms of Service.
• Every account must pass face verification before it can be used. Verification exists to guarantee that each account belongs to one real, living adult, and it is our primary barrier against minors reaching the app.
• One account per person. A banned person's face template is retained so a ban cannot be evaded with a new email address or device.

What is prohibited

The following are strictly forbidden and result in an immediate permanent ban:

• Any child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving a minor, real or simulated.
• Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to sexually exploit a minor.
• Any attempt by a minor to access when, or by anyone to help a minor do so.
• Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM anywhere on or through the service.

How to report a child safety concern

There is a report button on every profile and on every voice date. Reports are private and the person you report is never told who filed it. If you believe a user is a minor, or that any child sexual abuse or exploitation is taking place, report it in the app or email our point of contact below. Concerns involving a child's safety are treated as urgent and reviewed the same day.

How we respond

• We review every child safety report and permanently ban any account found to involve CSAE or CSAM.
• We comply with all applicable child safety laws. We preserve the relevant records and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the appropriate regional and national authorities.
• We cooperate with law enforcement requests that are lawful and properly issued.
